COSTUME CRAFTING
501st Legion Stormtrooper
I'm an active member of the 501st Legion, a worldwide volunteer organization dedicated to promoting Star Wars fandom through costumed charity work. Members make their own costumes using a strict set of guidelines to ensure a high level of screen-accuracy. As Disney/Lucasfilm's preferred costuming group, members are frequently asked to appear in official Star Wars events and productions (including The Mandalorian). Personally, I have built 5 complete Stormtrooper suits (3 original trilogy, 2 First Order) that I have worn to appear at charity events, conventions, and even on stage at the Hollywood Bowl for "Weird Al" Yankovic's concert.

Other Costumes
From researching the original costumes, to sourcing accurate materials and finding creative ways to build everything - I enjoy every step of the process. But my favorite part is studying the actual character and doing my best to mimic their performance, voice, and movement as closely as possible. Really nailing that part makes a huge difference when someone approaches you for a picture.

ART / CRAFTING
In my free time, I enjoy exploring different forms of art and creating all kinds of fun things. Whether it's painting/drawing, sculpting, woodworking, digital design/animation, photography, video, or just turning a bunch of old junk into something completely new and weird - I'm always finding ways to channel my creative energy and ideas into something unique.

PHOTOGRAPHY
There are just some things that can't be expressed with words. For me, photography is more than just taking a great picture. It's about capturing a feeling or moment from a story and being able to channel that to someone else with a single image. I want the viewer to be able to look at it and feel the warmth of the sun, smell the freshly fallen leaves, hear the mumbles of conversation, and ultimately continue the story in their own imagination.
HOLIDAY PRESENTS
Every year my partner and I spend the holidays with her family in North Carolina. Because it doesn't make sense to send all of her presents there only to then have to ship them back to California - I give her pictures of the gifts instead to show her what's waiting for her back in CA. But that's obviously not super exciting to unwrap. So each year I surprise her with some themed/creative way to receive her gift pictures. Here's a few of my favorites:
